Our core services are custom web design, development and hosting. It all starts there.

We tailor every site to our clients’ tastes and needs. It’s pretty safe to say that no two look alike. If you’d like to be able to update your own website, we can build one that allows you to do most of the day-to-day maintenance yourself via an easy-to-use WordPress or Drupal Content Management System. If you’d prefer not to deal with any of the website updates, then we’ll be glad to handle it all for you. It’s up to you.

Once we’ve built your site, we will help you to keep it maintained and we will host it on one of our secure, private client servers for you. We do not host for the general public– we only host sites that we’ve built. This means that your site is sharing space on a very high-end machine with a relatively small amount of other websites, all of which were built and maintained by us. This exclusivity means three things to you: speed, stability and security. But you’re not required to host with us either: we work with a wide variety of shared hosts and can even help you to set up your own dedicated or cloud server, if that’s the direction you want to go.

The process, at-a-glance

First, we find out what you like and dislike about some websites. We look at sites with you. We talk. We brainstorm. Then we custom design your site. Usually you get a few concepts to pick from, and then we make revisions to the chosen concept.

Once we’ce nailed down a design, then we turn it into W3C-valid HTML and CSS. That’s webspeak for “code”. Then we set up a system so you can manage the site’s content yourself. Sometimes during this process we custom code a web application that does something special for you.

Once your site is built and launched, you will probably need someone to support it. You will need to stay on top of security for sure, but you’ll also want help growing it as your business grows and changes. We’re here for that if you want us to be.
